Today, the Stanton Cross Residents’ Association attended the Wellingborough Planning Committee meeting regarding Planning Application NW/22/00908/REM.
During the meeting, we raised three key questions concerning the infrastructure needed to support this application.
Based on this, it was advised an objection would be noted upon submission to NNC stating that a request for written confirmation be received confirming that the infrastructure will be in place.
To be clear, our intention is not to block development. The intention is to ensure the infrastructure will be in place as part of but not exclusive to said planning application.
This process has helped to raise awareness of the ongoing concerns around infrastructure across Stanton Cross. We hope it will open the door to clearer conversations and firmer commitments from decision-makers.
Separately, we also wanted to share that the Northamptonshire Telegraph approached us for a statement ahead of an upcoming article regarding the recent petition. At this stage, we have chosen not to comment.
As always, thank you for your continued support.
